We're Back! Application updates, podcast release and so much more...
Oh do we have some juicy updates for you
As Arnie once famously said, “I’ll be back”. And guess what, he was god damn right.
Since May, we’ve been super busy behind the scenes at RadCast Inc working on a whole range of things. Whilst we can’t disclose everything, and who doesn’t love a good surprise, we can outline some of the major updates coming your way.
So, without further ado, let’s get straight into it!
2021-2022 Radiology Application Updates Is LIVE
For those of you that attended this free webinar, we promised you that we would upload the recording after the talk. Since technology can be a right pain in the butt, the recording got corrupted meaning it was useless. Unfortunately, that meant we had to go back and re-record it. Whilst we were doing so, we realised that the full video was wayyyyy too long and nobody can listen to our voices over an hour without going crazy. So, we’ve split it up into a 4-part series which you can access for free via the links below or as part of our Clinical Radiology Application Course.
Part 1 - The Major Changes To The Application Process
If anything in the videos don’t make sense, please just let us know in the comments or get in touch via hello@radcast.co.uk. Of course, if you want personalised application support, then let us know via email too!
Radiology Crash Course V2
One of the big things we’ve been working on is a revamped version of our Crash Course. Specifically, we’re introducing new modules covering additional radiology modalities or acute presentations that commonly cause a nuisance for the junior doc . We’re just finalising a few things for this but don’t be alarmed if you’ve already enrolled onto our original Crash Course. Since we love you guys so much, we’ll be updating the original Crash Course with the additional content meaning you don’t need to be pay anything extra.
Also, for those of you thinking of applying to our prizes, we’ll be updating those modules shortly with the new deadline dates.
Clinical Radiology Application Course Updates
Another application year has flown on by and that means only one thing, time to hit the beac…no…it means it’s time for us to update the application course (wipes away tears). Over the next few days, we’ll be sitting down to review all the application course content and revamping it to make sure it’s still relevant. For those of you on the application course, don’t worry. You will get access to these new modules without paying an extra penny! We’re here to make your lives easier, not harder!
PodCast Release
For those of you who haven’t listened to our podcasts, where the flip have you been?! Every month, we try to release a podcast focusing on a cool or important (or both) topic within radiology. It’s a great way to get to grips with what’s happening in the world of radiology and if you be strategic, you can use what you’ve learnt in your interview.
In this months release, we explore 3D printing in radiology with one of the leading experts in the field, Dr Leonid Chepelev, Cardiothoracic Radiologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. In 2018, Dr Chepelev was lead author on the RSNA Special Interest Group paper outlining the clinical applications of medical 3D printing. We discuss the current and future use cases of the technology, how radiologists add value to the process and the challenges of setting up a 3D printing practice.
You can listen to it via this link (or just search for RadCast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts etc).
Personalised Application Support
As always, our doors (virtual) are always open for you. If you’re looking to get personalised application support then just get in touch via hello@radcast.co.uk. One of us will get back to you and we can then start to have a discussion on how best you can build the best application possible.
So, that’s this newsletter all wrapped up. A lot of exciting things planned out for the next few months at RadCast and we’re over the moon to know you’ll be joining us along the way.
Till next time,
From your ‘socially distancing since 1895’ friends,
