Round 1 Updates, Cheeky YouTube Plug, and Course Updates
Candidates can now submit evidence for Round 1, help us reach 500 subs on our YouTube channel and latest updates on our courses
Good evening y’all!
Hope you’ve had an awesome week whilst the world around us seems to be going up in flames from this Omicron variant. But hey, another reason to come into radiology since we’ve been socially distancing since 1895.
Now lame jokes aside, let’s get into the crux of this letter:
Round 1 Evidence Submission Window Open
Candidates applying for Round 1 can now submit their evidence as part of the portfolio verification process. Please note, as per Oriel, you’ll have till the 7th of January 2022 to get all your evidence submitted. Of course, we wouldn’t recommend leaving it so late but you do have a week or so to get it all sorted.
In terms of how much evidence you submit, we argue you should submit everything that is relevant. This isn’t a time to be humble. But it also isn’t the time to submit every achievement since you left the womb. There’s a fine balance. So, submit all the documents you feel are relevant for that domain of the portfolio but don’t include irrelevant things. The last thing you want to do is piss off your assessor. Remember, they’ve never met you, won’t likely ever meet you, and will take things at face value. No evidence = no points. It’s as simple as that.
Cheeky YouTube Plug
Before you roll your eyes, we aren’t doing an Ali Abdaal and leaving medicine. Nor are we going to start doing ‘iT’s JuSt A pRaNk BrO’ social experiments. Instead, we’ve had a YouTube channel for a while now and have been plugging our teaching content there. In the coming days/weeks, we’re going to start posting the content submitted as part of our MedEd programme which truth be told, has just been some of the most amazing teaching content we’ve seen; genuinely, you guys have a knack for teaching. So, if you could, please take a few seconds to just subscribe to our channel (via the button below) so you can watch the content as it’s uploaded. Trust me, they’ll really help with your own learning!
Course Updates
We’ve been bombarded with requests to join the 2nd cohort of our MedEd programme. So much so, that it looks like we will be closing enrollment early. We have a few spaces left so if you wish to be part of this programme, please check out the MedEd course page via the button below and then get in touch. We’ll then outline the enrollment process for you.
As always, if you have any questions then feel free to get in touch.
Till next time!
Take care,
The RadCast Team
