New Year, New Me (LOL, As If)
Updates on Round 4 Applications and Invite To Our SJT Top Tips Webinar
Evening all,
Before we start, some wise words from Muhammad:
Xmas came and Xmas went,
New Year day is all but spent,
Now you stare upon your MSRA revision screen,
Wondering if that prior life you lived was but a dream,
This non-stop application never seems to end,
As you ask yourself whether you’ll ever see your friends,
But fear not, this too will pass,
And together, you’ll join us in the radiology class.By Muhammad - RadCast Co-Founder & Amateur (Very) Poet
Wow, moving stuff.
But, jokes aside, we hope you had an amazing Xmas period. All of us at RadCast got shafted by being put on-call meaning we ended up celebrating the entry of 2022 by shouting at clinicians requesting inappropriate scans. Ah, what a time to be alive!
Regardless, we’re very much excited for what 2022 has in store for us. And I’m sure many of you will be excited too at the prospect of securing the bag and getting that radiology training number. So without further ado, let’s get into the meat of this email:
Round 4 Offers Are out
For those of you who have applied to Round 4, please check your Oriel. We are getting word that offers are now out.
Congratulations to those of you that secured your training number. Now is the time to unwind and get ready to begin ST1 in February/March. We’d love to hear from you and get feedback from you on how we at RadCast can improve further. So, if you don’t mind, please do get in touch via the button below:
To those of you that didn’t get in. Please do not take it to heart. The number of places was really limited and you weren’t even given a chance to shine at the interview. Plus, you have Round 1 for August 2022. So, don’t give up and shift your attention to last-minute preparations for the MSRA exam.
SJT Top Tips Webinar
We’ve been getting a lot of requests to give you guys some additional support when it comes to the SJT part of the MSRA. Like you, we think it’s a load of bollocks. But hey, no point crying over spilled milk. You have to do it so, let’s focus on smashing it. Now, we don’t claim to be SJT experts (and never will) but we do know a thing or two about the exam (from our own experiences and supporting prior candidates). That is why this Saturday, we’ll be releasing our RadCast SJT Top Tips webinar. During the session, we’ll outline the key strategies to help you navigate the SJT questions effectively and also, emphasise some of the core ethical frameworks you need to be aware of prior to your exam. Now to carve out the time to prepare the content, deliver it and cover the fees associated with the Zoom tech, there will be a small fee of £9.99 to access the webinar. If you’re interested, please sign up via the form below and we’ll get in touch to give you access to the webinar.
As always, if you have any questions then please feel free to get in touch. We love hearing from you all!
Till next time,
The RadCast Team
