Clinical Radiology Application Episode 4: A New Hope!
Now You Can Get CRAC Straight On Your Phone + New Group Mock Interviews
What’s better than CRAC?
CRAC on your phone (or mobile device if you’re being a fancy pants)!
Yes, we’ve started 2024 with a bang. Yes, we know it’s 2 months into 2024 but please, don’t steal our thunder. Once again, the RadCast R&D team have been working tirelessly into the night to refine, revamp and revitalise the Clinical Radiology Application Course (CRAC).
Many have said that you’d love to be able to watch the modules on your phone whilst on-the-go. Whether that’s on your daily walk, on the tube or whilst you’re taking a number 2 on the commode, you can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll only be a tap away from CRAC (but please make sure to wash your hands first you filthy animal). So, with that being said, we’re now proud to say that you can access the CRAC directly through your phone using the link below. You’ll just need to download the app and then simply log in with your existing credentials to instantly access your enrolled courses.
What’s CRAC you say? Aside from the fact it sounds like a particular narcotic, it’s the most addictive thing you can possibly do to enhance your clinical radiology application! But does it cover the interview? Hell yeah it does! Being the cool kids that we are, we’ve been around the interview block since 2018 and since then, we’ve condensed all our expertise on all things radiology onto the course.
From smashing the “why radiology” question to ‘hitting it for six’ (we love you Dr Curtis) when they ask you about the role of “skills mix”, CRAC has you covered. Indeed, when the interview format changed in 2020, we adapted and built an extensive section on how to nail the skills and ethics based questions as if you were some great Greek philosopher. Honestly, it’s one of the best things you can do to supplement your interview technique and that’s not just our opinion, that’s the opinion of over 1200 candidates. Yes, 1200 candidates. Plus, as part of your enrollment, you’ll get exclusive access to our telegram group where we share all the important news/guidelines/memes you need to be aware of to make your answers stand out. So, what you waiting for? Get your fix today and sign up using the button below.
Finally, we are being inundated with requests for 1-to-1 mock interviews. Whilst we are truly humbled by your trust, we just do not have the capacity. This is despite bringing on board extra interviewers and squeezing every drop out of each of them (Muhammad’s wife has already threatened to leave him). But, as is the RadCast way, we cannot just sit idly by and not help you in some shape or another.
That’s why over the last few days, we’ve been looking at introducing group mock interview sessions. Simply put, it would consist of 3 candidates with 1 interviewer with each candidate getting the opportunity to practice their answers to a select number of questions and receive personalised feedback. Yes, it isn’t an ideal solution but it gives you a chance to get personalised, direct and meaningful feedback to take your interview to the next level. Whilst we’d love to have more 1-to-1 sessions, we don’t want to lie to you and promise to deliver something we just feasibly can’t. We respect you too much to do that. So, we came up with this alternative and in fact, after the trial yesterday, we got really good feedback. The candidates said they had received “honest feedback relevant to my experiences” and said “the group environment actually helped with fleshing out new ideas of what to discuss at interview”.
Based on the positive reception, we are now offering more group sessions. To see what sessions are available, use the button below. Once booked, you’ll be emailed by the interviewer with your meeting link which you will then access on the day/time of your scheduled group interviewer.
P.S. get in touch if you want the final 1 slot at 1pm on 18th Feb or take any of the 3 slots at 4pm on 18th Feb.
Finally, just so you know, our focus from here till the radiology interviews start will be two things and two things only: portfolio evidence and interview practice. We know these two things are the most important right now and so, we will prioritise these two things above all. We’re working overtime to get through the emails and will continue to do so. Like we said earlier, we know this is a stressful time for you right now. There’s a lot on the line. We were there several years ago. That’s why we will support you through thick and thin. We got your back.
Till next time,
From your “so does the FRCR 2A have images” friends,
Jamie, Uzoma and Muhammad
