It’s here. What you’ve all been patiently waiting for. Yes, we’ve completed the marking. Yes, we’ve marked it thrice. And yes, we’re now ready to share the results with the world.
*drum roll please*
For the 2023 Roentgen Radiology Anatomy Competition, we can now proudly declare that our top three scoring candidates were as follows:
In third place, taking bronze with a fantastic score of 89/100 is Dr Pubudu Piyatissa.
At number 2, clutching silver, with a crisp score of 91/100 is Dr Ranjith Murugan.
Taking gold, and our hearts, with a phenomenal score of 97/100, yes you heard that right…nighty fu*king seven out of a hundred, is the one and only Dr Chun Kit Pang!
*round of applause*
Many, many congratulations to all three candidates! Absolutely smashed it and moving forward, we’ll be reaching out to you shortly with a certificate of your amazing achievement. To our victor, the absolute G that is Dr Pang, you are worthy of the Roentgen prize (details shortly to be shared with you via email).
To all of the Roentgen participants, you should take a bow. It’s not easy undertaking any exam, let alone one that is purely voluntary. You put in the graft and honestly, some of the answers were top notch and made us go *chefs kiss*. We will be in touch with you shortly with your scores. Unfortunately, we are not able to share the questions as we continue to build up our bank of images for future competitions. However, we are collating a document where we will outline common mistakes made by candidates *cough* not reading the question *cough*.
Moving forward, we want to take this opportunity to thank all of the Roentgen candidates for being patient with us. As we said before, we fu*ked up the first attempt and we appreciate the consideration you gave us as we dealt with the aftermath. It genuinely meant a lot to us and we appreciate the trust you gave us as we worked to make amends. Going forward, we think there was a silver lining to it all as we’re happy that we’ve found a platform that we can scale the competition with. So we look forward to seeing you in a bigger, bolder and more badass 2024 Roentgen Radiology Anatomy Competition!
Till next time,
From your ‘satisfaction of search’ friends,
J, U and M
