Ancy, many congratulations to you from all of us at RadCast. Not only did you smash it but you have forged yourself into the history books by being crowned the first champion of the Roentgen competition. We’ll now be in touch with you to personally let you know about your sweet, sweet prize!
To all of you that participated, we take our hats off to you (Jamie wears a top hat). Honestly, we cannot thank you enough for being part of the journey with us. You have no idea how much fun, and sleepless nights, we had developing the competition from the ground up and seeing so much enthusiasm for it (big shout out to MDU for sponsoring the event). We were humbled by your response and to all of you who gave us feedback, thank you. It is invaluable and will help us take the Roentgen prize from strength to strength. We will now be in touch with you to let you know of your individual scores and your much deserved certificates of participation.
New Course: Clinical Governance 101: The Fundamentals Of Audit & Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs)!
Hands up who has been asked (forced) to do an audit/quality improvement project?
🙋
Yup thought so. Whether it’s part of your ARCP, specialty applications or for things like appraisal/revalidation, you’ll have to do an audit/QIP at some point. But guess what, nobody teaches you how to do one in either medical school or as a junior doctor. You’re just expected to figure it out (sink or swim). And guess what happens, you end up wasting bare hours/days/weeks of your life only to find out your supervisor was chatting bubbles and this “amazing project” isn’t either an audit or a QIP but just some random ass thing that will never get finished. Trust me, we’ve been there several times and it takes the absolute p*ss. That’s why we decided to support you guys by simplifying this confusing topic and make an introductory course on it.
In this course, we go through the A-Z of what you need to know when it comes to audits and QIPs. From how to easily identify a suitable audit/QIP topic to efficiently getting through the audit/QIP cycle without having your soul destroyed in the process, we teach you the key principles of getting your audit/QIP from 0 to 100. Plus it’s available 24/7 meaning you can watch it at your own leisure at a pace that suits you.
So if you know you’re going to have to do an audit/QIP at any point of your training/career, make sure to check out our course. This is particularly true for our IMG colleagues who don’t have much experience of the audit/QIP process meaning it can be quite daunting to start one from scratch.

Going forwards, we at RadCast HQ want you to know that we’re now focusing on two main things. The first is our Radiology Crash Course (RCC), scheduled for the 10th of September. If you want to sign up and get access to the pre-recorded modules immediately, just click on the link below:
Secondly, we’re now ramping up our resources for the radiology application process and getting back to those of you who have kindly and patiently been waiting for personalised feedback. Have no fear, we’re on it and will be in touch shortly.
As always, we’re happy to answer any questions you have. Just send us an email to hello@radcast.co.uk.
Till next time,
